I am currently a PhD candidate in the School of Informatics and Computing of Indiana University, Bloomington. I work with Prof. Tang and Prof. Radivojac and Dr. Arnold on computational problems in shotgun proteomics. Broadly, I am interested in understanding living systems through mathematics and computers. My recent research topics include Bayesian protein inference and quantification in mass spectrometry based proteomics, machine learning and inference with graphical models, disease genomics and gene functional predictions, molecular evolution, and security issues in -omics data release.
